Freshman Orientation and Summer Trip (and an airplane ticket)

<p>i wanna visit my country (Korea) during this summer vacation.
but I'm still waiting for my acceptances and do not know my schedule
yet I can not wait until mid-April to purchase a ticket since they wont have
inexpensive tickets any more. in fact when i checked it today, there are only a few left.
(i mean some can get a ticket in mid-april for more $$)</p>

<p>does anyone have this dilemma?</p>

<p>How's (in general) freshmen orientation? when do schools (east coast) usually start?</p>

<p>Also do they usually start new semester right after orentation or do i need stay somewhere else(nowhere-_-) between?</p>

<p>At my school, which is on the east coast, there are dates you can choose from (early june to late july) to attend summer orientation. I'm pretty sure you can get summer orientation information from the schools you have applied to.</p>

<p>Did you check the college website(s) in question to see if they have the 2005-06 academic and housing calendars listed? You might get lucky and the dates for freshman orientation, move-in dates, registration dates, etc. may already be listed.</p>
