Does it matter how early in June you do orientation? Do the kids who do June 4th get better classes than those that get them at the end of the month?

I’m just a little bit concerned because he will have tested out or have dual credit for all freshman level classes with the exception of his computer science courses. I’m just wondering what will be left…

FYI: He will have taken 4 semesters of college spanish ( only needs 2 in degree plan) and both semesters of Freshman English.

He has tested out of both semesters of American History, 1 semester of government and 2 semesters of Chemistry.

After this year he should have credit for economics, 2 semesters of Physics and 1 semester of Calculus…

We are somewhat limited to the sessions available since school is not over until mid June. Will the AP test scores be in by June? I seem to remember they come mid summer.

At least I don’t have to worry about what Line Camp to choose, once less thing to plan around since there is only one honors session.

No, the AP scores will not be in until mid July or so. We’ll just assume he’ll get credit and go from there.

Be careful. The Modern Foreign Languages Dept. and the Math Dept. each have their own tests to determine placement as regards AP courses. Baylor puts a lot o emphasis on reaching the Intermediate level (completion of 2nd semester of Year 2) of a foreign language… it is not negotiable. Perhaps they do accept college courses taken elsewhere at face value, but best to verify that.
