Freshman Schedule.

When do we register for courses? I was playing around in the mock schedule program and it seems a lot of the courses I liked in the handbook weren't on the program. Does this mean they aren't offered next year?

Thanks!

You’ll get a packet in a month or two telling you about registration, and classes, and stuff. You’ll contact your premajor advisor about classes and stuff and you’ll do registration in mid Julyish (if memory serves me well).

If the handbook you’re talking about is the Course Registrar, not all courses are offered every semester, or every year.

[Fall 2009 Freshman Course Timetable](<a href=“Office of the University Registrar”>Office of the University Registrar)

that link takes you to the course timetable for courses offered next fall.

Thanks for your help
I’m sad to see that my Environmental Chemistry course isn’t on there though.

you can take it another semester. you’ll survive. you’re allowed to be upset when the course you want to take is offered every 2 years and conflicts with a course you need to take for your major.

Where can we see a list of the freshman seminars. The main website only has Spring 2009.

It’ll be updated in the next few months. I wouldn’t take a freshman seminar unless the professor is good though. Nothing ruins a small class more than a bad professor.
