<p>What seminars are y'all taking? </p>
<p>As of now, I am taking History 39J on World War I. Maybe I'll sign up for a one unit one when my Telebears II appt. comes up on Wednesday. </p>
<p>What other ones have everyone signed up for?</p>
<p>I signed up for How Things Work, the exciting, phun physics seminar.</p>
<p>Civil Engineering, I think, the one about Skyscrapers and the World Trade Center...</p>

<p>German 24 Crusades and Holy War. Should be interesting...</p>

<p>From what I have read on the Freshman Seminar Website I would think there is at least one performance involved, but I dunno. I had been hoping to get this seminar, it sounds really unique, you know?</p>
<p>After reading this again it seems we will be performing a monologue.</p>
<p>It does sound unique! Yeah, I read it over before and I was hoping "developing a monologue" would be limited to, well, developing a monologue. I have my appointment tomorrow morning and I'm probably going to reconsider. I'm terrible with staged performances!!!!!!! (<-- Note: there are seven exclamation points) I've tried, well not really, but I just don't have it in me. But it sounds really fun and I hope you enjoy it..</p>

<p>awww, come on now, it would be for 15 people tops!! Then again, it only says "developing a monologue" like you said, maybe you can "cast" someone to read it! ;)</p>
<p>I think this is one of the only frosh seminars still open (trust me I checked). oops, forgot Scandinavian 24 and German 24 (which I think is actually supposed to be kinda interesting and no performing necessary!)</p>
<p>thanks, I hope I enjoy it too :) (I'm really just a history nut that loves anything from the 1950's-'60's, and I'm kinda taking the seminar on a whim!)</p>

<p>Very few of the 24 series are open, but many of the History 39 seminars have 1-4 spots. Have fun with Phase II registration :)</p>
<p>If anyone is interested in Hiking and Earth science there are spots available in the EPS 39a seminar, I thought about taking it, but my schedule is pretty full. Plus, it's only 2 units.</p>
