All of the seminars are listed here. I took Computer Science 39K, Information Technology Goes to War, with Randy Katz in Spring 2009 and enjoyed it immensely. It will probably be offered again Spring 2010, so I suggest you keep your eyes open.

BUMP - i have the same question!

This looks fun to me:

Linguistics 24, Section 1
Language Myths (1 unit, P/NP)
Professor Larry Hyman
Wednesday 10:00-11:00, 105 Dwinelle Hall, CCN: 52248

How does one sign up for a seminar? Does one receive a grade? Does a seminar take place over a matter of weeks?

Hehe, I am such a noob. I apologize for any “stupid” questions xP.

^ -you sign up for a seminar the same way you sign of for classes
-most seminars are pass or no pass, but there are some that you can choose to do letter grade for
-seminars are semester long, but i did see a seminar that is only held the first 7 weeks of school i think

Ty jenkkie.

I’m assuming that seminars aren’t available to FPF, correct?
