So, a few programs have oversea starts and with this virus starting to create headaches to universities study abroad programs how will freshman starts be effected? I’d expect that universities will have to plan for all these overseas starts to begin on campus in the fall. Do you expect RD admissions at these school will be impacted? seems to be the acceptance rate will decline but managing yields will be the unknown
If COVID-19 is still a big concern, next fall semester may be done through distance / online education, rather than on any campus.
I really doubt any country will be thrilled having kids come there esp when we just closed our borders to Europe, I expect that fall classes will be on line.
No way that Northeastern could accomodate NU In students in Boston in the fall. There simply is not enough space. My guess is that they will offer them a January start date in Boston.
At BU their CGS program starts in Boston in January and the summer is in London so that may not be affected.
@TomSrOfBoston RD could be effected? Less RD accepted? Also, It would be interesting how to manage the International students yields. Lots of unknowns! Especially if on campus housing is kept closed
By the way BU has a September Pathway at CGS this year
