Freshman Transfer

I am currently attending Cal State Fullerton and I am about 4 weeks into my second semester here and it is not at all what I expected. I am looking to transfer back home to Northern California. I am against going to a community college for family reasons even though I know it is the best option for transferring.
I am looking at private/4 year universities in the Bay Area that admit first/second year transfer students.

General Ed GPA: 3.35
Major GPA: 3.70 (Political Science)

I am looking at Saint Mary’s College, Santa Clara, and USF. Please let me know of any other 4 year universities or private schools that may accept me.

Thank you!

Do you have a budget?

Open to any school!

I just want to make sure you fully understand how expensive college is. For some schools like SCU you’re looking at $65k a year and some schools give really poor financial aid for transfer students.

Besides the ones you listed, in the bay there are the CSU/UCs obviously, there’s University of the Pacific in Stockton, Dominican University of CA

It’s pretty clear that you’re from the Bay Area and want to stay there. Other than Stanford, which has a Political Science program, those three schools are probably your only options. Since you didn’t complete 60 units, prepare to send high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores all over again.
