<p>There was a suggestion a while back when my D audtioned to make hotel reservations for move in weekend as soon as possible-which I thought was a great idea. One thing I didn't consider was reservations for performance weekends. My D is not at a school with a "Big 10 Football Team", but is in a city with one. I just tried to make reservations for her first performance and besides barely finding a room it was triple in price than a normal weekend with a 2 night stay minimum. Luckily, I can go the following weekend since there is not a football game. I guess when the show schedule comes out for next year I will make reservations early just in case and then cancel if I don't need them. </p>
