Freshman year workload & class times

Here is my S's daily schedule. He took 18.5 credits his first trimester, 16 last trimester and is taking 19 this tri. He's a 4th Class Midshipman at the US Merchant Marine Academy. Its a little easier at the other academies, but not much.

6:00.................Reveille for fourth classmen (freshmen)
6:30.................Reveille for upper classmen
6:25-7:20.........Breakfast buffet
7:30.................Room inspection
7:50.................Colors formation
8:00-11:20.......Classes
11:30................Lunch formation
12:30-4:50.......Classes
5:00-7:00.........Athletics, extracurricular activities
5:30-7:45.........Dinner buffet
8:00-11:30.......Study period

Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings are used for regimental parades and inspections, but the remainder of each weekend includes liberty and recreation.

often labs will have a discussion section that meets once a week, where the lab is discussed, and you take quizes/tests.

So if you take Chem I with the lab, you probably will take Chem lecture 3x per week, lab 1x per week, and discussion section 1x per week.

ahh ic thats good

Can I just say... holy ****...
My schedules something like

Wake up at 10:30 (my classes usually start at 11).
Be done for the day by 3:30.

3:30 pm~2am : FREE time baby

one can make college very hard or very easy.

If I find myself waking up earlier in college than I do for highschool, something is very wrong...
