Hi,
I am currently going to become a Sophomore in High school and I did not do so well Freshmen Year ( 3.5 GPA). I have heard a lot of things being said about University of Michigan looking at freshmen year and not looking at freshmen year. Could someone please clarify this with a link or source? BTW. I am on varsity swim, robotics (plan on going to college of engineering), photography club, and key club. The only advanced classes that I took freshmen year was Honors Algebra 2 w/ trig and STEM engineering ( if that counts). I plan on taking AP Chem, AP physics, AP micro, AP macro, AP Calc AB or BC, AP prob and stat, and AP psychology. Do I still have good chances if University of Michigan does end up taking Freshmen GPA? ( I live in-state)

Thanks in advance!
