<p>I hear some colleges don't consider your freshmen year of high school for calculating GPA. Is this true? If so, which colleges/universities?</p>

<p>Stanford is one. I think University of Michigan is another. Those are the only two I know of but there are a few more I'm pretty sure...</p>
<p>If I could afford it/get scholarships then I would definitely go to Stanford if they'd accept me and not counting my freshmen GPA is very beneficial to me. I got most of my B's freshmen year.</p>

<p>If they didn't use my sophomore year G.P.A...I would be in a whole different boat right now, maybe a cruise ship, rather that a raft with a leak in it.</p>
