<p>what are the odds that decisions will be out friday? i know the email said the 15th, but for the past some-odd years, it's always been the friday before the weekend.
any chance we can expect emails in our inboxes a bit earlier than the 15th then?</p>

<p>yeah, i keep asking myself the same thing because it has indeed been on a friday for the past couple of years. i definitely hope that it will be on the friday--waiting for the entire weekend is going to be intense!</p>

there's some chance, i guess, but i wouldn't bet on it considering that there are so many more applications this year than in years past
all we can do is hope!</p>

<p>I kind of want the release to be on monday, even though I'd have to wait longer.
I need to prepare for the rejection so I would hate for it to show up unexpectedly on fri.</p>

<p>when you guys say "in the past few years it has come out on a friday" do you mean the past TWO years? ...that would make sense, considering two years ago the 15th was a friday and last year the 15th was a saturday, so decisions coming out on a friday only meant one day early</p>

<p>since this year it would be 3 days early if decisions came out on friday, i find it highly unlikely that they will.</p>

<p>i saw a similar thread in the yale forum and somebody had a good point.</p>

<p>if last year decisions came out on a friday even though the 15th was a saturday, that probably means that they like to have all of their decisions done before the weekend. if that's the case, are they going to put off decisions until monday just for that one extra day of deliberation or finalizing things?</p>
