I got a 26C:25E 30M 23R 26S for the Feb ACT.

I just registered for the April one, which leaves like a month and a half to study. Is it possible to raise my score 4 points? The thing I'm worried about is that I was lucky for the Feb test and the curves were generous.

It is possible to significantly raise your score. My daughter raised her score from a 27 in the December test (no prep) to a 31 in the February test (some prep). She’ll probably take it again in April as she thought she would do better. Part of the problem is that the math that they test is now so long ago for her as she is completing AP Calc II as a junior and they are testing geometry. Now if they would throw in some calc problems, she’d be fine.

heretosucceed92, just curious, how do you know that the curves were generous in 3 out of the 4 subsections? My son has not gotten his scores today, but I was just wondering.

^ same here (18,18,16-> 34) I raised my score from 30 in Dec to a 34 in Feb. I didn’t do any prep in Dec. and only looked through some general strategies in each section with half of a practice test. So with a little work I am sure that you can do better. The biggest thing that helped me was my confidence. Go in thinking that you own the test. lol. Good Luck.

It is fair because the subscores each have a different number of questions assigned to them, for example there are only 4 trig questions on the math part, never more/never less
