From Biology to Political Science

Hello, I was just wondering what the likelihood is of me getting into a Political Science Masters program with a major in Biology. I do have a minor in Poli Sci and although my overall GPA is at about 3.0, my current P.S. GPA is at 3.33. I do plan to raise my overall GPA by retaking a couple classes and doing well in the rest of my classes of my final year. If all goes according to plan I should have about a 3.2-3.3 GPA overall and 3.5-3.6 for P.S. if I aced my next four P.S. classes. I do plan to take a year off from school after I graduate because I barely have a chance now with my current standings. I also plan to apply to Howard U, LSU and Temple U. What is the likelihood of me getting into a Poli Sci program after undergrad and is there any advice as to what I should try to accomplish this upcoming year?

I have a little more info to add:
-I will be taking the GRE this month
-I have good relationships with my Poli Sci professors
-Unfortunately, I didn’t do any internships or research

Terminal MA admissions in the social sciences (ie not public policy or public administration degress) are not nearly as competitive as other grad programs. With decent test scores and those grades, and a clear statement of what issues in poli sci interest you, you should be in good shape for those sorts of programs.
