From Harvard to Physics PhD in Europe, NA

I am a white American who is going to graduate with a bachelors in Physics from Harvard. I have a 3.41 GPA and a bit of an interesting record. I managed to get a D in organic and a couple C's in advanced math courses, but my Physics grades are all A's.

My plan is to work for a year in the field, hopefully doing research around Boston, take my GREs and apply to graduate schools. Standardized tests are a forte, so I am expecting to do very well on my general and physics GREs, but I will be sure to update the thread as soon as I know.

Is this a realistic list, and what kind of scores (other than the best I could possibly do) should I be looking for?

Imperial College London
ETH Zurich
Columbia
Trinity College, Dublin
UChicago
UC Berkeley
McGill

These are ordered by my own personal preference... and as you can see the general theme is a desire to get the hell out of Massachusetts. I'm really looking for suggestions to broaden my list and if need be make it more realistic.

Any input would be great!

I’m also particularly curious if the prestige of Harvard’s physics department is actually all that significant a factor. It definitely doesn’t help the old GPA, so hopefully I can cash in somehow.
