From UCLA to Berkeley

I have been accepted to UCLA's business economics major. How hard is it for me to transfer to Berkeley to major in business administration after 1-2 years?
And is it easy for an UCLA's undergraduate economics major to get into Berkeley's graduate business major?

I don't know the answer to your first one, but be careful about going to a good school with the expectation that you'll transfer. You could end up overlooking anything good about UCLA because you'll just be waiting to go to Cal.

I'm not the authority on business programs, but I know UCLA's bizecon is pretty excellent. Just make sure you take a long hard look at whether it'll be worth the hassle of transferring.

Anyways, I'm sure it's just as easy to get into Cal's grad school from UCLA as from anywhere else. UCLA's name is strong enough that you certainly won't be hindered by that (however much you would anyways), but GPA, getting a good score on whatever the acronym for the standardized test is, and related experience will do a lot more to take you to the grad school you want than where you went to undergrad.

What's already got you thinking about transferring though?

I want to run my own business in the future. I just think business administration is more relevant to my career than economics.
But what is the difference between business economics and economics?

if you want to run ya own business your probably going to get a mba anyway so the b.a. doesnt really matter in my opinion. i think you should stick with ucla

are you a freshman or a transfer into UCLA biz econ? If you are a transfer you start junior year so you will be unable to transfer to Berkeley for business.

If you are a freshman it is possible but will be hard.

Biz econ is a lot of theory with some accounting versus more practical administrative knowledge. Both will suit you just fine in having your own business, a lot of things you will only learn with practice anyways.

It is also extremely difficult to transfer from UC to UC.
