Two down and two to go. I hope Michigan can sustain its intensity over the next 2 weeks. Why is there such a huge layoff (almost 2 weeks) between the first two games of the tournament and the last two games?

As a side note. I have been following Michigan Hockey since 1992. This is our 10th Frozen Four appearance in 16 years. WOW!!! Talk about dominance. Hopefully, it will be our third National Championship in the past 12 years too!

I believe the reason for the delay is not to compete with baskeball Final Four. They will play winner of MSUvs Notre Dame, and might play Miami of Ohio in the finals. Great year for their league, CCHA,since Miami, MSU and of course Michigan have all made it this far

Actually only two CCHA teams made it (Miami lost to BC in overtime of the Northeast regional finals).

It's going to be Michigan vs Notre Dame, and North Dakota vs Boston College. We're 2-0 against Notre Dame, and 1-0 against Boston College (pretty lucky overtime win in the first game of the season).

bennis - I believe all of the games were available streaming online (not directly through ESPN, but via sopcast).

I wish I could make it to the Frozen Four, but the combination of the semi-finals being on a Thursday and the only cheap flights to Denver being out of Chicago are severely killing the chances of having that happen. Well...and also the fact that my car couldn't handle the 35+ hours of driving that would be involved for road-tripping.

dsmo, Michigan hockey games are a hidden gem. Most people are so blinded by Michigan's larger-than-life football program that Hockey just seems to blend in the background. But in my opinion, the atmosphere at Yost may be as special, if not more special, than the atmosphere at the Big House. Michigan is blassed to have two such awesome program...one for the Fall trimester and one for the Winter Trimester. That way, students always have an awesome, kick-@ss team to support, year-round!

Always knew it was special, but just never made it around to going. Really surprising I never went, because I have always been a big hockey fan and played quite a bit of hockey growing up.
