Michigan loses in Frozen Four

We just did not play well tonight. We dug ourselves into a 0-3 deficit, managed to make it 4-4 in regulation, but we lost it in sudden death OT. Not that it matters. The winner of this game is going to be so exhausted, it is going to lose to a far more relaxed and energized Boston College team on Saturday.

Heart-breaker. Really hoping for Michigan. We'll be cheering for B.C. in the final.

yeah i know. it sucks. :-(

Yeah. The winner will probably Boston College. Should be awesome though!

Michigan Hockey had a great year, as usual.

Such a great game, depressing result. :(

heartbreak! right when you thought it was all over, michigan just got right back in it. oh goodness, i couldn't even watch it in overtime... i tried to but i think my heart would have collapsed on me

Excellent game. I wasn't sure what would happen when they took Sauer out, but it obviously turned out decently.

Something about Pepsi center in Denver and Sauer. He gave up 6 goals last year there in regional final. He looked awful last night. We came back but had no jump in overtime. Ran out of gas

As expected, Notre Dame was way too tired to give BC much of a game. The winner of the tournament was decided on Thursday night, when North Dakota went down without so much as a fight and BC came out of that game without breaking a sweat. On the other hand, Michigan and Notre Dame played 3 very intense and exhausting periods and then, had to play some more in overtime to decide the winner. End result, BC won 4-1.

Glad BC won. I believe they were the runner ups the last two years. Nice to see the team break though, especially against ND. ;-)

Actually, Notre Dame had a good chance at coming back, but the WCHA officials blew a major call (they've screwed up easy calls and changed the outcome of at least 3 games so far this season). Instead of making it a one goal game, BC scored about a minute later to get a 3 goal lead.
