FSU CARE Bridge Program?

My FSU application was recently denied. My stats are as follows ;
GPA : 3.1
SAT : 1500
ACT : 22

It wasn’t until yesterday that my friend told me she was accepted through the CARE summer bridge program. A program designed basically for first generation college student with the intent to “ease” them I to the college environment.
I was wondering if anyone has applied or has been accepted into FSU through the CARE program and how that went through.
Would the fact that I was denied through the standard application affect my admission chances?
Am I done with FSU ? I really want to go there so I’m willing to do what it takes.

I applied as well and was denied through the standard application too. I wondered if my initial rejection had affected my CARE decision so I called. The lady I spoke with basically said it didn’t. I get my decision in 4 days! I wish you luck, man.

I was deferred from regular admissions and reapplied through the CARE program and was accepted yesterday with similar stats. Good Luck!

Did you receive your CARE acceptance through email or regular mail?
