If i don't get into FSU'S summer bridge program will they still atleast send me an email saying I have been denied?

I honestly do not know the answer to this question and nearly all of the CARE administrative staff has left during the fall term. I would call the CARE office tomorrow and ask for Tadaryl Starke or Hege Ferguson. It might even help them make a decision if you show interest over the phone. We were in constant contact with them before they ever made their decision on my daughters admission.

Ok. Because I know that some people have gotten their acceptance letters via email. So it might be just a no, but I will call.

The way it was done last year was the CARE decision committee met every Thursday to make a decision on all applications they had received up to that point. If its been a while since you sent in your application they can probably provide you with an answer via phone. My gut is that they would send some type of communication either way. It’s possible that they are on the fence and you calling to show interest could help them in making their final decision on your application.

it’s done on a rolling basis. i sent my materials in dec. 22nd and they said i should receive a decision around 6 weeks after that point, but it definitely varies.

Jossie- what else have you learned about the process this year? It has apparently changed quite a bit since last year and I would be interested to know how things are being done a year later. :)

well supposedly they close the deadline earlier if there are too many applicants. thats all i know honestly

thanks josie, they sent you that in a email?

Kiara- that’s standard from year to year. It’s even posted on the CARE website. They get thousands of applications every year.

I was asking her if they told her 6 weeks in the email. They DONT say when they get back to you on the website.

No, they don’t say that on their site. I misinterpreted and apologize publicly for stepping on your toes. I’m not sure the caps were really necessary over an honest mistake.

haha sorry to but thanks for the help
