FSU/Care or UF

Got accepted into summer B for both FSU and UF. I got into the care program at FSU who says will pay for everything for my summer term if I qualify for even $1 of financial aid. I'm not sure how much UF would give me if I am eligible to receive $5,550 from fafsa? In addition, care states that they will help me find scholarships and other grants to pay for college after my summer term is over so I am wondering if it's worth going to UF if I wouldn't be getting as much of financial help and advice from them than FSU and the care program?? Any advice on what I should do? additionally, Im leaning towards double majoring in political science and media production which I know fsu is renowned for but I have been told getting a degree from UF will advance me more than a degree from FSU so im in a sticky situation :/. I got into UF with a 4.9 gpa, a 1630 sat total, and 21 act composite so it was a shocking surprise that I was accepted in the first place. It's not a opportunity that I want to just throw away without thinking hard about it

The Political Science major at FSU does seem to be well regarded. In fact, UF students often use this fact to make fun of FSU as being “a bunch of Poly Sci” majors.

UF’s program isn’t bad either, but FSU has the advantage of being in a state capital. I’m not sure how the schools compare in media production.

If FSU is giving you a bunch of money, I’d say go there. UF is ranked higher, in general, but I can’t imagine that this will make a difference for the majors that you are taking, as opposed to say, Engineering or Agricultural Science, where UF dominates.

Let’s dispense with a myth - In the job market a degree from FSU or UF will be regarded the same. Neither will open doors or close doors, except in the historic areas of strength as Sweetheart relates. Even there the circumstances and presentation of the individual are paramount.
