FSU Legal Scholars - resume question

<p>I was accepted into the Honors Program at FSU and am very interested in joining the Legal Scholars program.</p>

<p>I was hoping someone could give me feedback on my resume. Is it good enough for this particular program? Should I leave some of it out?</p>

<p>Also, what exactly should I say in my personal statement? I have never had to write one before and am worried I will not include the right things.</p>

<p>10th grade:
-School Newspaper; editor-in-chief; interviewed Congressman Gus Bilirakis

-School Leadership Program - mentored a group of freshman once a month</p>

<p>-Local elementary and middle schools - judge for science fair projects; judge for Tropicana Speech;
organize and run field days; assist on field trips
-With Interact club, I was in charge of running a book drive for a local elementary school
-Collecting food and supplies for military overseas
-Collecting food and supplies for in-need families with students attending my high school
-Running concession stands for school sports games
-Raising money for Relay for Life
-Tour guide for incoming freshmen at my school</p>

<p>-Girls State Alternate – elected by teachers

-Helped lead school to the most amount of food collected for a Holiday Food Drive in Pasco County
-Helped win a seat-belt awareness project with National Honor Society</p>
