FSU Looking for Molecular and Evolutionary Geneticists

Saw this - it may be of interest to some folks... :)

The Department of Biological Science at Florida State University invites applications from molecular and evolutionary geneticists working to understand the relationship between genotype and phenotype. Eight tenure-track positions at all ranks will be filled over the next few years. The genesis of this effort is our conviction that the relationship between genotype and phenotype is one of the most important unsolved problems in biology, and that one aspect of its solution is to understand the genetic underpinnings of phenotypic variation within and among species. Fundamental understanding of this relationship can only develop by integrating understanding of the fundamental molecular processes with knowledge of the whole organism and its phenotype. Consequently, we are looking for molecular and evolutionary biologists with vigorous research programs in their area of specialization, but that see the value of such integration.
