FSU VS. UCF Transfer

Hello, I am currently a high school senior who might have to chose between Florida State University(FSU) and University
of Central Florida(UCF). I plan on doing some sort of engineering, either mechanical or aerospace. I am aware that FSU does not have an aerospace program but I plan on transferring out to a bigger engineering school after about a year or so. I was wondering which school would look better when transferring. Any advice appreciated.

The biggest regret of my life is not going to UCF. My final college decision was between UCF and a local school in Ohio. I chickened out and stayed local so I could go to school with high school friends. I visited UCF and fell in love instantly. I don’t think there is a better campus in a better area on the planet. The research opportunities are endless, and there are endless things to do and endless people to meet. I wish I would have taken that opportunity I had to go there. I’ve never been to FSU, but I can tell you if you have the chance to go to UCF, you should strongly consider it. I live in regret because I passed it up…

UCF has a great engineering program. My friends that were in that college all had great internships and jobs before graduation. If aerospace is your thing then note that NASA and Lockheed (as well as a ton of other smaller private firms with defense contracts) have offices nearby.
