Full IB attractive for college admissions?

All the colleges we’ve visited for my D24 have said they expect the student to take the most rigorous program that their school offers (and perform well in that program) . For her school, that is IB.

All the HL classes at our school included calculus. I didn’t know there was a version without it. Always learning something!

The math HL courses include calculus, but some versions do not have enough calculus to be counted for subject credit for regular calculus 1 by some math departments (although in the example above, A&I HL may be counted for business calculus 1 or biology calculus 1 by the math department in question).

The OP is long gone. I’m unsure the purpose in bumping after 2 years.
