What do you expect us to tell you other than what’s on the lists already posted at the top of this forum? The automatic and competitive scholarship threads should tell you everything you want to know, other than the National Merit scholarships, which you can find out about on the National Merit website.

I believe your state flagship has excellent scholarships for high achievers.

Just keep an eye on the deadlines for some of the more competitive scholarships. Many have deadlines of December first for application submission.

Another one you should consider is the McNair at U of South Carolina. That application is due on December 1…and it is a doozie. It is their honors college/scholarship application. The McNair is a full ride. You have the stats to be competitive for it…but that application MUST be submitted ASAP.

Do you need large merit in order to afford college?

IF so, then you need to apply to BOTH big merit that is competitive…and big merit that is ASSURED for your stats (as back ups) in case you don’t get any of the competitive awards.

Thanks for telling me about the McNair scholarship.

And the reason I asked about the scholarships is because the forum lists all scholarships. I was looking for the more super-competitive ones that I have a chance at with my stats.

Okay, makes sense. Good luck!!!

Johnson at Washington & Lee. University Scholars at Duke. Emory Scholars. USC. and any school that has these Stamp Family full rides: Miami comes to mind.

Aria…get cracking on the McNair application. I believe it is the honors college/scholarship application. Also, your application to U of South Carolina must be submitted too…ASAP.

U of South Carolina also has the Cooper Scholarship ($4000 a year, plus a reduction to instate tuition costs), and the McKissick ($2500 plus a reduction to instate tuition costs). Both are based on the strength of your application. But you have to get that application for admission done ASAP!

Their Honors College is really terrific!
