So my medical insurance wants proof that I'm a full time student in order for me to get insurance through my parents. Since UCLA doesn't have an official "full time student" status, where can I get such a statement from UCLA that A) I'm a full time student in the fall or B) a receipt of my tuition. Apparently my father doesn't believe BAR is a receipt, that it's like a checking account, so my insurance won't take it.

If you're not sure, just spitball ideas of which department I should ask. I don't want to get redirected among three different departments saying the other one is responsible for what I'm looking for.

dude these full time status things are really laid back and will accept almost anything. just print out and send them your DPR (degree progress report, from URSA) and it should be fine. if they don’t take it (i highly doubt) then you can think of something else

click through all the URSA links some of them state full-time status. perhaps the enrolled schedule or the efan

Since UCLA doesn’t have an official part-time student status, I’m inclined to think that they don’t bother to write “full-time” anywhere. My insurance was very specific about what they wanted (refer to parts A and B in original post) and they only take fax or snail mail, so I’d like to get it right in one try.

Isn’t there a type of transcript you can order that verifies that you’re a student?

EDIT: [UCLA Schedule of Classes: Student Services](http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/soc/services.htm#Anchor-Official-42424)

Verification transcript

They take anything - I printed out a crappy URSA printout for health insurance, auto insurance discounts, etc… they’re pretty lax - just make sure it has your name and the amount of units your taking.

Gotlactose, you can use the “studentclearinghouse” website but it will cost you $5.50. I think most people know that a full time course load equals 12 units so if I were you I will just print out your study list from URSA and that should work. Or you can pick up an unofficial transcript at Admissions.
