I heard Stanford and Dartmouth give full tuition in need-based aid (at least) for kids whose parents’ total income is less than 125/100k respectively. Do they still do this, and do any other colleges have similiar promises?
At Dartmouth, free tuition is provided for students from families with total incomes of $100,000 or less—and possessing typical assets. -
Keep in mind, that if you have property outside of your primary residence, if your parents are separated, divorced, remarried, self employed or business owners this will most likely not apply to you.
Your best bet would be to run the net process calculators at both schools to see how the process works for your family’s situation.
Even if your family makes 100K and get free tuition, you will most likely be full pay for everything else
