Fully Online College for Information Technology

Hi everyone!

I’ve been doing some research and calling some Colleges. I’m looking for a Fully Online College to get my BS in Information Technology.

Why Fully Online? I’m a Musician, and travel 3 weeks or more every month.

I live in Florida, so my first option was Florida Colleges, but I found that all of them required me to be physically present during midterms/finals.

So I decided to look outside Florida. And after looking at prices and other aspects, I have it narrowed down to two:

Colorado State University Global and American Public University.

So here are my two questions  :

1.- Between these two, which one would be more likely to open doors for me with potential employers?

2.- Does anyone has suggestions about other Fully Online colleges (Specially in Florida)? I would truly appreciate it.

Thanks everyone!!!

I don’t know if you received any answer for this but I just graduated from CSU-Global campus with a B.S. in Professional Interdisciplinary Studies in June and have started my Masters Program in IT Management with a Project Management Specialty. CSU-Global is a pretty good school with the right accreditation. I don’t know if it will open doors for you, but it is not a degree mill. You will work hard for your diploma. I think as long as you graduate with at least a 3.0 GPA you should be good.

The instructors that I had for every class had a PhD and were very knowledgeable about their area of expertise. On the plus side, your tuition cost per credit hour will not go up the entire time you are studying for your B.S Degree. They have a good tutoring section too. I used it when I was taking a business accounting class and was having a bit of a tough time wrapping my mind around double column entries.

I don’t know anything about APU.

Do you know if graduates from this school get good job offers?
