mistakesaremade, you get two elective credits. Yes, you have to pay the 150 to take the course.

If anyone hasn’t signed up for Naut-001ax yet, take the Monday night course so I know some other people in class :)

Thanks for the info, Serapher.

Sorry, another question about NAUT. Should I take it as an Audit, Letter Grade or Pass/No pass class?

@mistakesaremade - It is up to you. It isn’t an entirely challenging course by any means but I suppose it is up to the individual. It is a how to sail/navigate class basically.

I am taking it P/NP because it does not count towards your degree and I want to enjoy the course as much as possible without stressing about the exams.

Either way we get elective credit for it, right?

Yes, but it won’t count toward major requirements unless you get special permission and can never count toward minor requirements, based on what I’ve read. It does count toward the total units required for a Bachelors.

There are also credit limits. They’re on that page.

It is just an elective, not good towards anything unless you are wanting to work for the coast guard I think.

The music department also offers singing instruction. You can sing in a chorus or play in the orchestra (meets on Wed. evenings and performs once every semester).
You have to audition for the chorus. Sign ups in the music dept office.
