<p>I have been accepted to several doctoral programs for Fall 2014 however, my question is after receiving email/letter of acceptance when were you informed about funding or stipend info? Was it in your initial admission letter or received several weeks after? Any info is appreciated. </p>
<p>It is usually included with the acceptance letter or shortly thereafter. If you did not receive any funding, you should contact the department and ask them whether you have already been granted or are being considered for funding. If not, ask them what steps you can take to request or apply for funding.</p>
<p>DS said that he received his acceptance email from Caltech on Jan 21 and his funding letter on Feb 8. </p>
<p>Thank you all for the info. Ok, I have heard both so it I guess it depends on the school. I have emailed the school to find out what the process is.</p>
