Funny Quotes From Stressed EA Applicants!

Clam fart had me laughing almost as much as Bill Cosby going absolutely nuts on ESPN last weekend....

YouTube - Bill Cosby on ESPN 2, 5, and 6

Sarcasm totally DOESN'T translate in the internet...I was responding to a post just now where yet another person with perfect scores on practically everything said she was going to die (DIE I TELL YOU!!!) if she didn't get into Harvard...
What I said was something to the effect of "Harvard isn't everything. Just because you don't get in doesn't mean you should swallow a cyanide tablet and kill yourself. I'm pretty sure other 'second rate' schools such as Yale, princeton, MIT, and Brown will consider you..."
and she went totally ballistic...reprimanding me on how Yale and MIT and all the other schools I mentioned were just as awesome and how snobby I am for saying such a thing and all that shiz...

...shocked isn't even the word to describe what my reaction after that half a page lecture on the improtance of Harvard and Ivy league schools....

...

^^ I got your sarcasm. Maybe she is just highstrung? That's not too much of a stretch seeing the post that initiated this conversation. And the fact that she decided to write half a page instead of just disagreeing with you and moving on with her life. There are some people that just won't get sarcasm, online or off.

Reply: Which is really too bad (In my case anyway)...Every other thing I say is either sarcastic or border-line sarcastic.

Back to Post topic: Funny qote:

"I originally put my teeth....but I thought it was abit creepy so I put down something else."

-In reference to last years "What are you most proud of" question on an application form.
Hehe. I LOLed at this!

@ Cato

YES, I WAS BEING SARCASTIC!

(Hence, taking the time to write that gigantic explanation of myself in complete jest!)

Well.
It started out as sarcastic, and then evolved into a paper I wrote on the alternating triviality and gravity of orthograpic changes in languages as they relate to the change OF languages.

So that's cool I guess.
