I would get a really good recommendation from my Econ teacher at my high school, and I'm going to take another Econ course at the University near me, and maybe I could get the recommendation from a professor. <p>It’s all about the essays at the U of C.</p>

<p>Seriously, you can’t overstate the importance of the essays. Set aside a really good chunk of time for them and thinks them through. Don’t worry about being too weird, because form what I’ve heard, NOTHING is too weird. Really. Nothing. Also, try to send in extra stuff. Unlike some other schools, Chicago seems to make a point to consider any additional materials. I sent in the children’s book that I wrote and illustrated for a school project, and I think that helped.</p>
