<p>I am interested in starting a Future Doctors of America at my high school and would like to know a couple of things. Does anyone has this club at their school? If so, how does it get started? What do you have to do, get the school's permission and an advisor?</p>

<p>I would start by talking to a biology or chemistry teacher... any science teacher, really. They can help guide you and maybe become a sponsor.</p>
<p>There's an FMLA (Furture Medical Leaders of America) at my school created by last year's val. I really don't know anyone who's in it, and I hear that people have to get recs from teachers or write essays or something like that to get in. I don't have any idea what the meetings are like, but I do know they sponser a lot of different events (fund raising).</p>
