hey guys, i am a freshman and trying to roughly plan out my courseload/summer plans for the next couple of years. there is a summer study abroad pre-med program in a european country that my college offers--after junior year, you can go there for a month and work in a hospital with a doctor you are shadowing, take medicine-geared classes like medicine and society, etc. i am interested in the program because i have studied the country's language extensively in high school so that i could someday go there, and also because i am pre-med; however, i know that experience in a clinical setting is important for applying to medical schools. Since this program takes place the summer after junior year which is basically right when/right after you apply to medical school, how can i make this part of my AMCAS application/can i even do that? will med schools even consider it if i say that i am "planning on having further experience this summer"? thanks!
