fwiw for those with students needing to write apa style papers

son and i found a great software to help write papers in apa style, ie citations and bibliography and templates for the lay out. will work on pc or mac (as long as you have word on your mac) reasonable cost at 20.00.
worst part of writing a paper/research project for my son is writing the correct citation format!!

so as not to be seen as a troll , will post the name if anyone interested. if no one interested will let the thread die

I would love to know the website. D got a B on a paper due only to her problems with the citations - I looked it over and didn’t understand exactly how to do it correctly - APA style has really changed since my days as a psychology graduate student.

I just asked D and S if they needed something like that. D said she uses knightcite.com which will do APA, MLA or Chicago. S used easybib.com, but when I looked at it, MLA is free, but they charge for APA and Chicago.

Formatting the paper and writing the citations was always the easiest part of the paper, I thought  You don’t have to write anything.

I use [Son of Citation Machine](Citation Machine®: Format & Generate - APA, MLA, & Chicago), and for anything more sophisticated I use LaTeX/BibTex which handles all citations and references automagically.

here is the one my son got for his paper
