List your sources. what?

First week of college...
We had a hw assignment that wasn't TOO major, and it simply says to list your sources. I have 10 websites and am debating whether to make an APA style bibliography or simply just list the addresses.

Helpppp please

I stopped simply listing websites in 9th grade, but idk, I guess different teachers will expect different things. It is just a simple homework assignment.

if only it said “cite”

Seriously? Ask your professor or TA.

But you can’t go wrong using APA or MLA or some other form.

Yea I guess you can just list it and save some time. I can’t see the teacher throwing a fit over it. IF he wants it done differently he’ll tell you

what the hell, it takes like 15 seconds to turn something into a properly formatted citation. just do it.

Go to easybib.com. It practically does it for you. I don’t know why this is such a big deal. It probably took you longer to make this thread then it would to go and make a works cited page. You would rather do too much than too little.

I think that in college you should automatically do the formal unless told otherwise. So take ten seconds to copy and paste the info in a free bib site of some kind and turn it in. If you didn’t need to, hey, maybe around final grade time the prof will remember you are the kid who put extra effort into having your work look professional.

It’s college. Simply listing websites looks lazy. When in reality doing it proper MLA format doesn’t really take up too much effort. There are many websites like EasyBib.com as previously stated that makes it ridiculously easy and look more professional.

MLA for the win!

just to add: avoid citing Wikipedia…

Always correctly cite your sources, regardless of whether you’re told to or not.

This is something you should’ve learned in high school.
