Again, I’m torn between these two schools for engineering. Georgia Tech has a better program and is cheaper, but I feel like I’d have more fun at UCLA because of the sports teams and because it’s in LA, so I don’t really know what I should do. Any advice?

Georgia Tech has big time sports too. Their football team was 9-4 last year while UCLA was 4-8. The edge for basketball will generally go to UCLA. Does Georgia Tech play football on campus? UCLA plays about 45 minutes away in Pasadena. Not trying to talk you out of UCLA since my son will be going there for engineering, but he is in-state. Both great schools for engineering.

If your parents are willing to spend 60K per year because you’re a big sports fan then go to UCLA. At that price you’re probably one of the biggest sports fans in the country!
As a CA resident I encourage you to come and bring your OOS tuition dollars
