Schools:
NYU Gallatin
Seattle U
U of Washington
Fordham
Pratt
U of Chicago
Boston U

Chicago will be based heavily on your essays, but everywhere else you look good.

NYU Gallatin is about a 55% yes-45% no (GPA way above average, but GPA slightly below average)--however, I don't see why you want individualized study. If you plan to go into music study by applying to Gallatin, you are applying to the wrong school at NYU--Music is in Tisch--and you will have to do an audition. They won't let you do music performance in Gallatin, unless you are a celebrity.

Your SAT scores are a little low for Chicago, but like the other poster said, they will look at your essay and decide yes or no when you are borderline. Your GPA is great, and will get you into all the other schools on your list easily.

P.S. Don't list your rank on your application if you don't have to . The fact that you are not top 10% at your school will work against you--especially at Chicago.

Good luck.

So if I raised my SAT to 2100 (hypothetical...), how would I be for Gallatin? And I don't want to study music.

With a 2100, you would be at least 65% chance of acceptance by Gallatin
