gallatin ED financial aid? / chances

Hey everyone :) I'm planning on applying ED to Gallatin and I was wondering about merit scholarships. I read on CC that most scholarships are only offered through CAS-- is there any truth to this? I'm a National Merit Semifinalist and was hoping to get some sort of scholarship from that, but I can't seem to find if Gallatin even offers merit scholarships in the first place. If anyone knows that would be greatly appreciated...or I could always just call NYU... :P

And while I'm coming out of lurk-dom...chances?
