if tim duncan or manu can get their act together, pistons are in trouble

If Detroit plays with the same consistency they have been playing with for the past couple games, I don't think the Spurs can win.

Billups has been on fire.

I think the pistons will win. Duncan is not consistent for the series, and I dont think he will be in tonight's name. Manu and parker are good point guards but Chuancy and Rip are better and more experienced. They need a another big game off the bence for Horry and Berry. The pistons are playing good denfense, Duncan needs to step big time, otherwise the Pistons will win.

I am looking forward to watching the Pistons win. The front court (Wallace 2X) for the Pistons has been playing great putting down Duncan. It's going to be a great game. If I recall correctly, should the Pistons win, they would be the first team to win a championship by winning two straight road games.

LETS GO PISTONS!

If Pistons dn't turn the ball over, they're winning. They're rank dead in the middle of he league in turnovers. So if the Spurs can't force any, then they don't deserve it.
I have class tonite... so I can't watch it. You guyz lucky...

Pistons will win. LOL i bet 20 bucks that pistons would win after they lost game 5. I hope i am $20 richer by tomorrow

This series has been very interesting(although i didnt get to see games 2-5).

Both of these teams play a similar style of basketball. Lockdown man on man defense with terrific weak side help and rotation. With that said the winner of the pressure packed game seven will be the team that can hit the most outside shots...Why do you ask? Well the answer is simple: Both teams do not allow easy baskets(fast break points, layups, cutting). Because of that the main oppurtunities for the offenses will come off of double teams. The Spurs can get open shots because of Detroits double teaming of Tim Duncan. Now the problem for the Spurs in the last game was their lack of rotation and ball movement to get easier shots than the three pointer. Despite the fact that they make many more than detroit, they also shoot a lot more 3's and therefore shoot for a poor percentage. For a Spurs victory, Bruce Bowen, Robert Horry, and Brent Barry all need to make a good percentage of 3 - point baskets(Manu and Tim will always be covered, leaving the role players open). Another key for the Spurs will be Tony Parker. If Tony does not step up and be a man on defense when guarding chauncey, then he shouldnt even be in the game. Ive been waiting for it the whole series, PLEASE step your game up Tony.

For the Pistons there are a few keys to win this ball game... The first is to keep the momentum from a few nights ago, the pressure is now on the Spurs but that does not mean the Pistons should be any less intense. The second key is to get Rasheed Wallace the Basketball. This should be obvious, but the Pistons do not seem to understand how to run offensive sets. Tim Duncan guards Rasheed Wallace; therefore the more you can get him involved the more likely Tim Duncan gets into foul trouble. Without Tim Duncan the Spurs are done. The last and final key is to punk Tony Parker. The guy is seriously a lame defender and cannot guard Chauncy Billups. The more detroit allows isolation for chauncy against Parker, the more open shots the rest of the team will get(San Antonio will be forced to double).

In my heart I honestly believe that San Antonio will win and Tim will step up; however detroit is powerful and has the momentum. My prediction will be San Antonio.

go PISTONS

San Antonio SPURS!

Great game and great defense by the Spurs! The Pistons could not score in the 4th quarter.

no way. I can't believe they lost. I am sooooo upset. I can't even watch the announcements.

i cant either.

Spurs win. GG

I screamed when Parker fouled with 10.7 sec left.

guess im losing 20 bucks.........

Wow... i was really going for detroit

but i gotta hand it to spurs

they are clutch when they have to be.

I called the spurs today becauseI believed that they would have it going tonight. When they've got it going, they are strong in every aspect and unless the opposing team executes perfectly, the Spurs have got the game. Their only general weakness is at the free throw line...

w00t. I knew the Spurs would win.

Crap, I was rooting for the Pistions, but in the end, they just couldn't get the shots to fall for them. Billups was like 3 for 8. I mean seriously. Just not the Piston's day. Great game for Duncan and I loved the dunk at the end by Ginobili. Truly great series.

Duncan definitely picked it up this game. I'd have to say that Manu was most impressive though. Definitely made some great plays.

Ben Wallace did so much for Detroit this game also ;( I loved the three dunks in a row. Just bam bam bam

too bad they couldn't get it done. There's always next year

Has anybody else noticed that when the Spurs are down at halftime, they win? I'm sure there are many many exceptions to this (this is not scientific, just my observations). I remember this happening in past playoff seasons. I think against Dallas?

I'm a huge Spurs fan, but I really thought the Pistons were going to win. But hey, I'm not complaining!! :)

Way to have faith in your team.

Spurs win when Ginobili and Duncan hit shots.
