Is anyone going through the Gamecock Gateway program? Or, has anyone gone through the Gamecock Gateway program (if so, what was your experience)?
Scroll down. There are already a couple of other threads discussing it.
I’m already aware of those (one of them I started). All I see are negative comments made my parents and I’m trying to see if someone has had a positive experience.
I did it 2 years ago and loved it! Most of the complaints are easy to get around. The classes are harded then the USC ones because they want you to be prepared and do well at USC. We didnt get to pick our classes but its not that big of a deal one semester i had noon class next i had 8AMs. Not having a printer in a dorm isnt a big deal someone in bates will have one you can borrow. Bates is kind of gross but so are all college dorms. No college advisors are good, this is someone you’ll learn early on. If you really want to go to USC it is worth doing. It will help you grow up not having everything you want for one year of college and prepare you when you actually get into USC. If you make the most out of it you will enjoy it.
