Gap Year books/resources

<p>Havent completely searched the internet yet, but thought you guys may be a better source....</p>

<p>What is the best comprehensive guide to gap year programs?</p>

<p>off the top of my head, I know that Rustic Pathways runs them, but just trying to cover all bases.....</p>

<p>Operadad: you must have misread my post. This is not looking for advise, but rather a comprehensive guide for options for students. Of course a job is an option. </p>

<p>Amazon has quite a few titles with “gap year” mentioned. My daughter used the Lonely Planet guide.</p>

<p>It would be nice to have fun and travel. Even better to do it on someone else’s dime. How about something like the Peace Corps.</p>

<p>I have impression the student is in high school rather than college, Peace Corps is for after college, although Americorps programs would be appropriate.</p>
