GAP YEAR- IDEAS NEEDED :)

Hi humans!

I am most likely going to do a gap year due to health reasons.

I want the first half to be low-key, so I can recover. I want to stay local/volunteer locally. I live in the northeast. Some ideas I have so far is volunteering at ESL programs in local schools (I’m fluent in Spanish), volunteering in local clubs and activities, tutoring, lots of yoga and ballet, and babysitting. *More ideas needed :slight_smile:

The second half (from 2019 on) I want to do more travel related things. But, I have some specific criteria:

  1. I don’t want to break the bank (cause after this is college!)
  2. I can’t do camping due to health reasons
  3. I can’t do any manual labor due to health reasons
  4. I would like the travel to be in short bursts so I can return home and take care of my health in the in between time.

(However, I can still go on planes, walk 8 miles, etc).

*Are there any good travel programs you recommend? (That would fit this criteria of course :slight_smile: )
