Just wondering - will any significant gap year deferrals from 2020 admits make it more difficult for 2021 applicants based upon fewer spots available? Will some colleges limit the number of deferrals they will permit to manage the numbers?
Or conversely, will a possible decrease of foreign students open up space? Your thoughts?
There have already been multiple threads on this issue. Here’s one of the more popular ones:

In short, most colleges aren’t allowing COVID-related deferrals and will not release decisions about fall semesters until after deferral deadlines. There is also no reliable data to suggest that more students are considering a gap year/semester for this fall.
