Gardner's Art Through the Ages?

I'm going to be self-studying for AP Art History and I will be buying 'The Annotated Mona Lisa' & Gardner's Art Through the Ages. Is this a good combination? Are there any other prep books I should take into consideration?

And, I was wondering which version of Gardner's Art Through the Ages should I buy since there's many of them out there.

And, is self-studying AP Art History while simultaneously taking AP Euro at school giving me any sort of advantage? Or should I take Art History AFTER I self-study for the AP World History exam?

I took APAH this year and got a 5 on the test (many thanks to a great teacher!). I used Gardner’s Art Through the Ages 12th edition- it was fantastic! Don’t use the concise version. We supplemented our textbook with the annotated mona lisa.

Taking APUSH and AP Euro helped me enormously for AP test prep. I’m not sure AP World would help that much since most of APAH is 1300 onwards (I’d say 60-70%)

Gardner’s is the biggest textbook of all time.
