When will the Provost scholarship decisions be sent out?
Do GaTech give any OOS scholarships besides the Provost? Especially, anything that we can still apply now (mid-Jan)?
Found answer to the first question online:
“When will Provost Scholars be selected and notified?
Students selected are notified via email within two weeks of their offer of admission for early action or regular decision (see decision release dates). Students who are not selected will not be contacted.”
So if EA admitted students don’t hear anything by 1/27, they are not getting the Provost.
The following excerpt from the same online source need some clarification:
“an a student be considered for both the Provost Scholarship and an award from the Office of Special Scholarships?
A student can be considered for both, but will not be awarded from both offices.”
What is “Office of Special Scholarships”? Does it automatically review OOS candidates? Will it send any award notification within the same two-week timeframe?
