All the colleges provide excellent aerospace programs.....but which college gets better recruitments from top companies ?

As GaTech has a more rigorous course, does it really affect your resume when you graduate from that college, rather than from UMich and Purdue ?

Suppose if I wanted to go into I-banking or financing, etc. (here we go again)....would the college really matter then ?

Most top engineering schools (I would say top 25) get recruitment from all top companies. GT, UMich, and Perdue are all top notch engineering schools, so you'll have pretty much the same chances at all. However, it really depends on your GPA/your resume. So pick somewhere you believe you could do well and be happy and thus be successful. If you do so, that will land you at a top company =)

IMO, if I had to chose between the 3, i'd pick GT > UMich > Perdue, simply because I hate the north and my sister went to school in Georgia and is looking to move back, as well as living in Atlanta would be awesome (I like 20min from DC, so i like the city life), and I've always liked GT's programs

i'm a junior who's interested in those schools and in aero e. yeah, g tech has 2nd aero behind mit, but their business school doesnt compare to mich, and purdue has good aero e, but the rest of engineering is just ok. if u definitely want to do engineering go to gt, but if u might want to do business, go with umich since they are better all around

Those three are of the top 6 aero programs in the nation, you can't go wrong. But for engineering with a little business, I would go with UMich.
