<p>I am hispanic and I haven’t heard nothing, I am optimistic though we worked really hard let’s stay positive and wait… ‘‘this is really killing me’’</p>

<p>Dont give up. All the finalists have not been notified. Everyone who has gotten it from my state in the past has been notified by mail. And no one from my school or state that I know of has gotten anything.</p>
<p>My estimation of my mom’s income was alot lower than I realized. We didnt fill out the fafsa until after I submitted the gates application. However I still am pell grant eligible. Will this harm by chances of becoming a gates scholar if I am selected as a finalist?</p>

<p>no one knows for sure, but as of last night, even the already selected finalists were getting the same message. I don’t know about today.</p>
