<p>@Geeimawsome One of my best friends is black and from Chicago and received his finalist notification yesterday.</p>
<p>Some people have been notified, but I wouldn’t worry too much. They are still telling people. Don’t worry. God is going to give us some Finalist letters.</p>

<p>I am an African-American and I am from the midwest (Nebraska). I have still yet to receive notification about my finalist status or my rejection. I called the number and it said that a letter was in the mail notifying me of my status. I really would like to know like right now, but I am still waiting for the letter which will probably be here Friday or Saturday. The message did not say that I have so many documents that need to be sent, but a few people said that that message does not matter. It still bugs me though to not hear it. I fear that the letter will say “We regret to inform you” I am really scared. D:</p>
